What are terpenes and how do they work?
What are terpenes and how do they work?
Nature’s superpower, bottled. Every plant hides its magic in tiny aromatic compounds called terpenes — and almost everyone lets them evaporate away. We didn’t. We built MONDAYSUNDAY around rescuing them: proprietary extraction plus our own Night Terpenes™ and Calm Terpenes™ blends capture the part of the plant most brands bin, and turn it into a ritual you’ll actually look forward to. This is nature with the volume turned up.
How and when should you take MONDAYSUNDAY oral drops?
How and when should you take MONDAYSUNDAY oral drops?
Start low, go slow — then find your sweet spot. Shake the bottle well first.
Calm: 3–6 pumps through the day (up to three times) — straight under the tongue, or stirred into water, juice, a smoothie, coffee or tea.
Sleep: 6–8 pumps about 30 minutes before bed — under the tongue or in your favourite drink.
Give it around 20–30 minutes to come through, then dial it up or down to suit you. Each 60 ml bottle holds roughly 50 serves — plenty of room to find your perfect dose.
Can I take MONDAYSUNDAY oral drops with food or mixed with other liquids?
Can I take MONDAYSUNDAY oral drops with food or mixed with other liquids?
Absolutely — mix away. Drop them straight under the tongue for the fastest, purest hit, or stir them into water, juice, a smoothie, your morning coffee or an evening tea. Food’s no obstacle either. Whatever you choose, give the bottle a good shake first.
What made you start MONDAYSUNDAY?
What made you start MONDAYSUNDAY?
Because nature deserves better than a dusty tincture bottle. Our team — doctors and a clinical nurse who’ve spent years across conventional and complementary health — kept seeing the same thing: brilliant, traditionally-used botanicals let down by clumsy formulations. So we did it properly. Traditionally-used botanicals, seriously high-potency oral drops, in a clean artisanal spring-water base instead of oil or alcohol — with modern quality standards behind every single batch. Genuinely different. Genuinely better.
Who are the doctors behind MONDAYSUNDAY?
Who are the doctors behind MONDAYSUNDAY?
Real practitioners who actually use this stuff:
Dr Tal — Psychiatrist & GP (Welsh, based in Australia)
Dr Crosby Rechtin — Emergency Medicine (American, based in Australia)
Dr Nikolas Foklialakis — Phytochemist (Greek, based in Greece)
Got a question for them? They genuinely love hearing from you — hi@monday-sunday.com.
Why are your oral drops based on artisanal spring water and not alcohol or oil like the others?
Why are your oral drops based on artisanal spring water and not alcohol or oil like the others?
Because you shouldn’t have to swallow a mouthful of oil or alcohol just to enjoy a botanical blend. A typical 60 ml oil-based drop carries roughly 55 g of oil — a lot of needless fat every month. Alcohol tinctures can run 20–60% alcohol. Neither felt right. It took our phytochemist, Dr Nik, round after round of R&D to build a clean, water-based drop that actually delivers — no oil, no alcohol, no compromise.
How do I know your oral drops are pure?
How do I know your oral drops are pure?
Because we show you. Every batch is tested by an independent third-party lab, and we publish the Certificates of Analysis (COAs) so you can see exactly what’s inside — and what isn’t. No pesticides, no heavy metals, no microbial nasties. Just clean, traceable botanicals. Transparency should be the standard, not the exception.
What is the clinical evidence supporting the contents of your oral drops?
What is the clinical evidence supporting the contents of your oral drops?
Plenty — and we don’t hide it. Our Glossary + Evidence page links peer-reviewed research for every active botanical and terpene we use, so you can read it yourself. (For the careful reader: that research relates to the individual ingredients and their traditional use, not to MONDAYSUNDAY products specifically — we like to keep things straight.)
Do MONDAYSUNDAY oral drops interact with my prescription medications?
Do MONDAYSUNDAY oral drops interact with my prescription medications?
Great question — and an important one. If you take prescription medication, have a quick chat with your doctor or pharmacist before you start. You’re also welcome to email our own docs at docs@monday-sunday.com — they’re happy to help.
What is traditional use evidence?
What is traditional use evidence?
When our copy mentions traditional use, we mean the long history of these botanicals in Western herbal medicine — not clinical proof of efficacy. For ingredient-level research, see our Glossary + Evidence page.
