Our Terpenes

Our Terpenes

The aromatic compounds behind every MONDAYSUNDAY blend.

Terpenes are the natural aromatic compounds that give plants their scent and character — the spice in black pepper, the citrus in orange peel, the lavender in a lavender field. MONDAYSUNDAY blends use a terpene complex at a meaningful concentration in every drop, alongside the herbal actives on our Formula page.

One terpene worth knowing by name: beta-caryophyllene — the compound behind black pepper's kick. In 2017 the TGA classified it as a food terpene. We use it because it's one of the most widely studied terpenes available.

Terpene notes describe general compound properties and aroma character — they are not claims of therapeutic effect.
